Masters Coaches Corner

Dear Machine Masters Family-

Greetings! I hope this email finds you well and ready to get back in the water with the Machine Aquatics Masters group!!  Practices will begin this week!  The purpose of this email is to provide you will information that you will need to participate in Machine Masters this year.

MACHINE MASTERS REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Coach Josh will be returning again this season to work with the Masters program.   I know a goal of Coach Josh and many of the Masters swimmers is to try and compete in additional swim meets this season.  If you are aware of any meets that you think the group would be interested in attending, please let Coach Josh or myself know.

I have had many requests for additional Machine Masters apparel.   I am in the process of selecting gear.  If there is something that you would like to see in the line please let me know and I will gladly see what I can do!! 

All apparel will be offered via an online store with Aardvark Swim and Sport.   We will send the link out within the next week or two and post it on the Machine Masters Page.

We are in the process of re-structuring our registration process and fee payments for Machine Masters.  Next week we will launch a new registration page.  ALL  MACHINE  MASTERS  WILL  NEED  TO REGISTER  ONLINE FOR THE 2011-2012 SEASON.   The same active network that previously hosted the Masters registration and hosts the Machine Aquatics team registration will host this registration page.    IF YOU HAVE  A SWIMMER ALREADY ON MACHINE YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO SET UP A NEW ACCOUNT.  YOU WILL LOG BACK IN AND ADD YOUR INFORMATION AS A PARTICIPANT. 

In addition to the new registration form, we will have automatic billing for Machine Masters now.   When you register you will be required to provide payment information.  Your account will automatically be billed on the first of each month for your swimming.  If you have a month when you are swimming less or more days you will need to contact the Machine offices to have your account credited.  In the event you miss contacting Machine by the 1st, you will have a 15 day grace period before all charges for the current month stand.  You can contact the Machine offices via email at paris@machineaquatics.com or 703-391-2077.  

For the 2011 season we have increased all fees by $5.00 for set workouts and $2.00 for drop ins.  This is the first fees increase for the Masters program since we started in 2009.  This increase is due to rising pool rental costs.

All swimmers once registered with Machine Masters will be loaded into our ONDECK software so Coach Josh can track attendance and workout information for all swimmers. 

REMINDER:  FOR INSURANCE COMPLIANCES, ALL MASTERS SWIMMERS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH US MASTERS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN MACHINE AQUATICS MASTERS

We hope implementing these changes will help the coach and swimmers better track their commitment and performance in the water.

WORKOUT INFORMATION FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER

As many of you are aware, the Oakmarr Pool is closed for the month of September for renovations.  We will have an alternate training location at SULLY  STATION  POOL.  The pool is located at:

Sully Station Community Pool
5101 Sequoia Farms Drive
Centreville, VA 20120-4153

Practice will be held Monday- Friday from 5:00- 6:30am

We will return to Oakmarr Rec. Center on Monday, October 3rd, 2011.
