Senior Programs - 13 and Over

Our 2018-2019 Short Course (9 Month) Season is September 11, 2018  - May 18, 2019.
Our 2018- 2019 Short and Long Course (11 Month) Season is September 2018- Early August 2019.

There are two program options - 9 and 11 months.

The 9 month programs are 36 weeks and are for swimmers participating in 2-4 workouts per week, beginning in September. There is a one week break for the winter and spring holidays.  Swimmers in the 9 month program have the option of continuing in our Long Course program through the end of July for an additional fee.

The 11 month program consists of the Short and Long Course program for swimmers participating in
5 and more workouts per week, beginning in September through Early August.
Practice information for Summer 2019 will be released in mid- April 2019.


SENIOR PROGRAMS- 13 & OVER
 

9 & 11 Month Programs
September 2018- May 2019

Senior programs are designed for 13 & Over swimmers of all levels from our Green Seniors, Silver Senior and Orange Seniors these groups focus on continued development of proper stroke mechanics balanced with increasing their base for endurance training, and for competition racing in meets.  Programs designed to prepare swimmers to progress into more advanced Senior groups. May also be used to prepare for High School or Summer League seasons. 

Swimmers in these groups are expected to compete in a minimum of 1-2 meet per month.  Workouts average 1.5 to 2hrs water time & 15-30 min. Dryland.

SENIOR GREEN- 9 Month Program
2X A WEEK – 3.0- 3.5 Hours a week

SENIOR SILVER- 9 Month Program
3X A WEEK- 4.5 Hours a week

SENIOR ORANGE

4X A WEEK- 6-8 Hours a week*

5X A WEEK- 7.5- 10 Hours a week*

NATIONAL PREP
 

11 Month Program
September 2018- Early August 2019
*Time standards apply per coach/ site for entry into this program.  

Swimmers in this group are preparing to compete on a Sectional & National level.  Advanced training and aggressive goal setting are required. The bar is set high and participants are expected to make all scheduled workouts. Swimmers will compete at least once per month and they must have the desire and commitment to train diligently.  

This group has a more extensive meet and travel meet schedule.  Swimmers achieving cuts for Sectional & National meets are expected to travel to these meets to represent Machine Aquatics.  An additional fee for these meets applies.  

Must have coaches invite to enter this group. New member must try out for this group.  Minimum five(5) workouts per week, suggested six+(6+) workouts per week.
All workouts average 1.5 - 2.25 hrs. water time & 30 to 45 min. dryland

NATIONAL PREP REQUIREMENTS-

    5X A WEEK- 7.5-10 Hours a week

    6X A WEEK- 9-12 Hours a week


NATIONAL PROGRAM
 

11 Month Program
September 2018- Early August 2019

Must have coaches invite to enter this group. New member must try out for this group.  Minimum seven (7) water workouts per week + two (2) dryland sessions.
All workouts average 1.45 - 2.30 hrs. water time & 30 min- 1 hour dryland sessions

NATIONAL TEAM REQUIREMENTS-

    7+ A WEEK- 10.5- 14 Hours per week
