Cora started swimming when she was 6 years old for her neighborhood team, Greenbelt Municipal Swim Team (GMST) in Greenbelt, Maryland. When she was 8, she joined Machine Aquatics, UMD as a Gear and swam for both teams until she moved to college in the fall of 2022. 

Cora started volunteering as a coach for GMST when she was 11 and was hired as the year-round 9-10 age group coach when she was 15. Realizing that coaching was her greatest passion, she applied as the head coach of GMST when she was 17. As the head coach, she led the team during their first two years back from COVID-19, as well as during the team's merger with Severn Crossing Swim Team (SXST). 

In 2022, she graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School and committed to Vanderbilt University, where she currently studies Secondary Education and Earth & Environmental Science. During the academic year, she swims for Nashville Aquatic Club's Masters program and Vanderbilt University's club swimming, as well as coaches for Nashville Aquatic Club. Cora is so excited to work for the team that made her fall in love with the sport!
