Eanna Hehir Keys - Age Group Coach

I started swimming at age 5 with my local neighborhood summer league team. My Mom swam competitively in Ireland so being safe and competent in the water has always been top priority in our family. I later joined Maryland Suburban Swim Club (MSSC) and swam with them until graduating High School in 2016! I swam collegiately for York College before transferring to The University of Maryland. 

I attended The University of Maryland studying History and Education! I’m currently an Educator at The American History Museum in Washington, DC! 

I dipped my toes into coaching in 2014 as a Junior Coach with MSSC within their pre-team program. Later that summer I helped run the swim lesson program at my local pool and coached with the summer team. During and after my college years I coached with MSSC primarily with their Mini Programs, and started my run as Head Coach at Laurel City Swim Team. 

I am delighted to be continuing my growth as a coach with Machine Aquatics!

Mikaylie DePalma – Senior Director

Mikaylie DePalma is a 2022 graduate of Stony Brook University, where she earned her degree in Business Marketing and was a four year member of the Seawolves swim team. Mikaylie grew up swimming for Team Suffolk Swim Club on Long Island, New York from the age of six and was a varsity swimmer and team captain at Half Hollow Hills East. She has continued her passion for swimming through coaching, including time at St. Joseph’s University and most recently at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to coaching, Mikaylie is an Ocean Rescue Guard and Jet Ski Rescue Swimmer at Robert Moses State Park with the Jones Beach Lifeguard Corps.

I’m so excited to join Machine Aquatics and share my lifelong love and passion for swimming with our athletes. I can’t wait to get to know the swimmers and families, help them grow and share my love for the sport with them. 

Morgan Oehler - Age Group Coach

Morgan coaches the Gears Green group. She strives to build confidence and technique in the water and foster a love for the sport. Morgan started swimming competitively at the age of 6 with the Maryland Suburban Swim Club. She then went on to compete for the University of Maine in college. At UMaine she studied water resources engineering and now works as an engineer on stream restoration projects. She is passionate about water in all aspects of life, especially swimming!
